How it works

You’re not buying another rewrite. You’re buying the outside read.

Most resume tools ask how to make your resume better. Blind Read asks a different question: what does your resume make you look like to someone reading it cold? It answers with the level you come across as, the exact lines that put you there, and what to change first.

Four steps

  1. 01

Send your resume and your target

Upload a PDF or Word file, or paste the text, and tell us the level or levels you're aiming for. No account.

  2. 02

    Check what we pulled out

You see exactly what we extracted from your file, and can correct it, before anything is read.

  3. 03

Get the read in about a minute

The read comes back on screen and at a private link we email to you. Download it as a PDF if you like.

  4. 04

    Fix, then re-read

Make your changes in your own voice. Your one included re-read within 30 days is done fresh, then compared against the first so you can see what moved.

What comes back

The 30-second verdict

What a screener would say after a first pass: the role they'd screen you for, and the reason.

Your level, against your target

Where your resume places you on the ladder, what tips you up, what holds you down, and a separate judgment for each level you're targeting.

Your story in one sentence

The version of your career a recruiter would repeat to a hiring manager.

Six dimensions

Function, level, scope signals, trajectory, accomplishment quality and hesitation triggers, each with what the read sees, the lines behind it and what it costs you.

Your top three fixes

The changes most likely to move the read, each with what to do if you have the evidence and what to do if you don't.

Unfair, but real

Inferences a reader may draw that aren't fair but happen anyway, so you have a clean answer ready.

How the read is made

An AI model reads your resume against a fixed recruiter rubric: the same six dimensions, in the same order, every time. Each judgment either quotes the line on your resume that caused it or names what’s missing, and every quote is checked against what you submitted before the read is shown to you. A claim whose quote isn’t really on your resume is dropped.

Levels are placed on a general corporate ladder and adjusted where your industry uses titles differently. It’s calibrated to how US recruiters read resumes.

No person reads your resume. It lives at a private link, and it’s deleted after 60 days, or sooner if you choose. Privacy policy.

From the example read

“I would screen you for a Director of Operations role. While your current title is Senior Director, the bullets describe running workstreams and writing decks without mentioning a team or budget, making me rely entirely on your earlier Kelso tenure to prove your leadership scale.”

Why we built this

We kept hearing the same thing from friends: I’m applying everywhere and hearing nothing, and I don’t know why. We’d lived it ourselves. The hard part isn’t the rejection. It’s never finding out how your resume reads to a stranger who gives it thirty seconds. Blind Read is the read nobody gives you.
