What Blind Read is
An opinion. Blind Read reads your resume the way an experienced recruiter would skim it, and tells you what it concludes. It’s a second opinion to argue with, not an authority. Blind Read is run by Promontory CX LLC, based in New York.
What it isn’t
Not a guarantee of interviews, offers, callbacks or salary, and nothing in the product should be read as one. Not career, legal, financial or immigration advice. Not an ATS keyword scanner — passing or failing one of those is a different question from how a human reads you.
Hiring outcomes depend on the market, the role, the competition and the people reading you. We can tell you how you read. We can’t tell you what will happen.
Accuracy
The read is produced by an AI model against a fixed rubric, and every judgment quotes the line from your resume that caused it, so you can check the reasoning rather than take it on faith.
It will sometimes be wrong. When it is, trust yourself — you know your own history better than a document does. Tell us when it misreads you; that’s the most useful thing you can send.
Your resume stays yours
You give us permission to process it to produce your read, and nothing else. Retention and deletion are on the privacy page.
Don’t upload someone else’s resume without their permission. Blind Read is built for the person being read, not for screening candidates, and using it to screen is not allowed.
No accounts
There’s no sign-up. You send a resume, pay for it, and get a read. We store the email you give Stripe at checkout with your read so we can send your private link and help you request it again if you lose it.
Ending it
That same link deletes everything, any time, with no account. We store a one-way hash for access and an encrypted copy for email recovery. If you lose it, request your recent links with your checkout email. Either way, everything is deleted automatically 60 days after the read.
Price and payment
A read costs $39, a one-time payment per read. There’s no subscription and nothing renews. Each purchase includes one re-read of an updated version of the same resume within 30 days.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (the reseller) for your purchase and handles the related tax. Stripe emails your receipt.
Refunds
If you’re not satisfied, email hello@blindread.com within 7 days of purchase and we’ll refund you. If your read fails after you pay, we refund you automatically.
United States and Canada
Blind Read is calibrated to how North American recruiters read resumes, and is offered only for people applying to roles in the United States and Canada.
The fine print
Blind Read is for adults 18 and over. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything related to Blind Read is limited to what you paid for your read. These terms are governed by the laws of New York. If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top; changes don’t apply to reads you’ve already bought.
